Claude Lyons is delighted to have been named the winner of the Sustainable Supplier of the Year – Energy category in the 2010 Sustainable FM Awards.
The national awards, organised by Sustainable FM Magazine, looked at inspiring and practical developments relevant to sustainable facilities management. Entrants were judged on criteria including innovation, carbon reduction and cost effectiveness.
Claude Lyons develops and manufactures PowerSave voltage optimisation equipment, a technology that delivers energy savings of up to 25% by continually adjusting the voltage electrical equipment receives from the mains so that it doesn’t consumer more power than necessary. In addition to being at the forefront of innovation in voltage optimisation, Claude Lyons has demonstrated a clear commitment to helping companies address environmental issues. The judging panel were also impressed by Claude Lyons’ commitment to being part of a sustainable supply chain, as being an entirely UK-based company with local manufacturing facilities, green business practices are part of its ethos.
